Robert Downey Jr was born on 4th April 1965 in America, Manhattan new york. Father Robert Downey Sr was also an actor, singer, screenplay writer, and director he was half Russian Yahudi and half Irani. Talking about his mother Elcy was also an actress who belongs to the Jerman Scottish family.

As his father had an addiction to taking drugs, so only at the age of 6 years Robert Downey also started taking drugs for instance marijuana. As he started growing up he becomes habituated to taking drugs and drinking wine, belonging to the film industry family, Downey also started his career in the film industry at an early age.

At the age of 5 began his career in the film industry, first film was (Pound) released in 1970, and later after 2 years in 1972 again did a film (British spacious ). At the age of 10 years, went to learn classical Ballet in England during that time his study was going on from the Santa Monika High School. After learning Ballet came back to New York and started learning acting with his study.

In 1776 after the divorce of his parents, moved to California with his father, and later on, started his acting career, worked in normal theater shows named such as American passion, got his first success in his film career in 1985 (Tough Tough), where he has cast as a supporting character after this movie, Robert worked as supporting actor in many of films.

Soon in 1987 got the opportunity to work as a lead actor in the movie (The Pickup artist).

Robert controversies had begun in 1996, When he had been arrested for taking drugs like Cocaken, Heroin, and marijuana. Has been shifted to a Rehab center where he lived for many days but was unable to quit his addiction.

While Robert told that his drug addiction is his compulsion. For his drug addiction, has been sent to jail 6 times from 1996 to 2001, and more than 2 years has served a sentence in jail.

After five years of treatment for his drug addiction, he recovered from the illness and, in 2001 again came back into the film industry.

Where he got his first work that was a shoot of a song that had been offered to him by Elton Jhon’s (I want to love). Then he got his next film offer (The Singing Detective) with the help of his Air America film actor who was his friend too, after this film Robert has acted in (Never Back In His Life), then in( Kiss kiss Bang Bang), also in Disneys movie (The Shady Dog).

In 2007, worked in David Fincher’s movie Zodiac, Robert becomes worldwide popular in 2008 by Iron Man film which is Marvel cinematic universe movie.

Robert acted in this film as an Iron Man this was his first movie which had become blockbuster, for this film he gained his weight around 10 kgs in 5 months, Robert founded this movie to related with his personal life.

In 2012, again performed his Iron man Look in Avenger which was also Marvel cinematic universe movie, this movie becomes a huge hit in the world and the most successful movie on the box office and all over the world becomes the third most earning movie.
